MAGIC FINGERS

In a few weeks my MIL and I will be going to NJ to help her grand daughter Kristen. She is having her Senior prom and she wants me and my MIL to be there to help her get ready. I was so honored and happy when she asked me if I could do her hair. Honestly, I am a little apprehensive and nervous about doing her hair. I just want her to have a perfect day where everything from her hair down to her shoes is perfect. She doesn't have her dress yet but I saw a picture of it.I know no matter what she will look beautiful. With all the stress of her school work, part-time job and this upcoming prom I'm pretty sure she has some few breakouts. She is prone to breakouts when she is under a lot of stress so I told her that she has to learn more of what she can take or use to stop the breakouts. Knowing how excited she is for her senior prom, she is probably on the computer right now looking into solutions, medications or creams for her breakouts. As for me, I have to look at some hairstyle that is fitting for prom so that I won't embarrass her. I will just have to practice on my oldest hair seeing that she is the only one who really has thick, long beautiful hair.

A MOUTHFUL OF CHEMICALS

We have been out since 10 a.m. this morning and just got home about an hour ago. Spent probably 2 hours in Kmart just browsing around and getting the kids some stuff. While there I stopped at the cosmetic isle to check out the make-ups and some facial cleanser for my skin. There was a whole bunch and an isle full dedicated to women's facial skin care. I don't even know half what of them are for, It makes me leery about reading all the chemicals that are in the product that I can't even read, lol. I am better off on making my own home remedy for acne, this way I know what I am putting on my skin. It's probably not that hard to do, I know of some by browsing and reading some blogs that specialize in home made products ranging from soap, shampoo, lotion and many more. Its also cheaper making your own remedial solution for your skin and this way you can personalize it just for you.

BREAKOUTS

One of the things that I am proud of my teenage years was I had nice skin. I however had some breakouts when I was in my college years. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as some people had it. My cousin had terrible acne on her face. She had it taken cared of when she went to college and saw a Dermatologist. She was given the right acne solutions that fit her skin type. It made wonders for her face and cleared it up in no time. Hopefully my kids will get the genes from either of us and not be plagued with acne, pimples or any other breakouts that most teenagers go through.
