NEW HOME OWNERS

With the weather suddenly turning cold, I have limited the kids time outside in the backyard. I feel that with the changing of the temperature from warm, very warm to suddenly cold will wreck havoc on my kids health. Anyway, my kids have a lot of toys and activities to occupy them inside the house. I wonder how the weather is in Minnesota? Just recently a friend of mine from high school just bought their very first house. She and her husband are now proud homeowners of a 3 bedroom house. If we only lived in the same state i would already be in a tizzy looking any cheap housewarming gift ideas. What would the perfect house warming gift be? If it were up to be I'd probably give them a nice picture frame of my family so they can hang them up among the many photos of their friends.I am so happy and excited for them. Will have to ask her to take more pictures of the new house. I wish I could see her and her sister in Minnesota. That will have to be added to my list of people to see...

WILL TURN 18

Things are going to be interesting this year for Ralph's niece Kristen. She will finally graduate high school and turn the big 18. I wonder what she wants to do when she turns 18, I hope she goes on the right path and stay away from trouble. Kristen has always been a good kid, like most teenagers she does get moody according to her dad. For a while now we have been convincing Kristen to come down in Delaware and go to school here. She can always stay at our house providing that she gets a job to support herself while she is in school. My husband and I love her lots so when she turned 16 we had a family party just for her. We have not done that to any of Ralph's nephews and nieces just Kristen. In July she will finally be of legal age and can do with most of the things she wants. Will Ralph brother Larry give her a big bash when she turns 18? Probably not, but one thing for sure he will scour the stores, online to get the best 18th birthday gifts for him or her. Or he could get her the car she has been asking for. I wish her all the luck and hope she stays good.

PERFUME AS A GREAT GIFT IDEA FOR HER

Buying presents or stuff for other people is fun and challenging. You try to outdo yourself all the time by guessing what they would like to get. Next month is going to be my mom's 48th birthday. I hope my step dad get or find something my mom would really want. I know that like most men, he will get confuse on what to get her. I should probably tell him about this great gift ideas that my mom would really love to receive on her birthday. He will have a lot of choices ranging from electronic gadgets, flowers, perfume and many more. Ever since I left the Philippines, our constant form of communication is via the Internet hence the usefulness of the computer. Getting her a laptop at an affordable prize would be the perfect gift. I have not really showered my family with presents last year but I'm going to try to make up for it this year. My older sister is also celebrating her 32nd birthday this July and the nintendo Wii will be great for her. She might loose weight in a fun and different way and get my mom to exercise as well. Having a Nintendo wii ourselves, I'm absolutely sure they will have a blast playing with it.
