Unique wedding favors

It feel like it was just a couple of days ago that we were gearing up the the New Year. And now were are approaching the middle of January. Before we know it well be preparing for Christmas.

Now that New Year is out of the way I can focus and plan on my upcoming vacation to my homeland, the Philippines. I am not just excited about going home but also to be art of my cousins upcoming nuptial. We grew up together and are like two peas in pod. Her nuptial is much awaited as its been a long time coming. As her cousin and partner in crime, I am happy that she has finally found the man of her dreams and settle down. We have been in contact and talk about her upcoming wedding constantly.

Weddings are not easy to plan as I thought. If you don't have a clue in where and how to start planning one, then you are in big trouble. Luckily, that is where a wedding planner comes into play. My cousin works as a flight attendant and is based in another country. It's specially hard on her. An older cousin and I are doing our part in helping her with anything she wants. However, I have forgotten to ask her about her wedding favors. Knowing her, she is bound to choose a unique wedding favors that will be memorable and fun. It will be something that will truly showcase the love that they both share. Unique wedding favors doesn't have to be expensive, the important thing is how it will represent both the groom and bride. To share with their guest their love for each other. I cannot wait to find out what they have chosen. I have a few ideas myself but I'll leave it all up to her for now.

HIS BROTHERS

There I was again hanging out with my two handsome BIL's. From left-right is Larry who is the middle child, me and of course Angelo the oldest brother. The first BIL that I met almost 4 years ago was Angelo. I must admit I was scared about meeting him, but it was four naught. He is such a kind soul that reminded me of my sister so much. As for Larry it was a different story. I was scared out of my pants about meeting him. He seemed so quite and more reserved. I eventually warmed up to him completely when I was about 7 months pregnant. I was craving so much for Dunkin Donuts, we stopped at one and he bought me donuts. I also wanted munchkins and he got me a whole box. From then on, I knew that he had accepted me into his family. He may not be around much but I know he things of us and is always good to my girls. This photo was taken last month at Angelo's sons wedding. We were all so full from the good food and was just having a good time talking and catching up. I love my brother-in-laws and I hope they love me to,lol

ANOTHER WEDDING

This coming Saturday will be the wedding of Andrew and Wendy. The groom is my MIL's grandson. We will be heading out to New Jersey once again to witness the union of these two couple. Before the wedding I heard Wendy and my SIL talking about finding a Wedding Jewelry that is meaningful to both of them. In today's generation wedding jewelry is part of the ceremony already. Specially for middle eastern weddings, brides are adorned with different kinds of wedding jewelry. Either from the groom or from the brides family. I have seen proof of that from watching Platinum Wedding on television. But anyway, we hope that the weather will cooperate on Saturday. The wedding will be held outside the backyard of their house. I have already picked out outfits for the girls and myself, got the card and gift and of course I got to help MIL cook the food she volunteered to bring.

9 DRESSES

How many weddings have you been to and how many of those were you a part of the wedding entourage? As far as I can remember, I have been to 9 weddings and I was a bridesmaid in all of those. You saw the movie 27 dresses, well I was the 9 dresses. I guess you could say I'm a pro, lol. It was a compliment for me to be asked to be a part of a very special occasion where you see two people you love tie the knot and vow to be together forever. I enjoyed wearing different dresses, meeting new people and of course the food. And at every wedding I look forward to giving out and receiving the wedding favors chosen by the couple for the guests. Its unfortunate that I never did taken better care of the favors I got. I know for sure that when I do get married in the church, we will pick out something very personal and dear to our hearts.
