HOPEFUL PLANS FOR NEW YORK TRIP

A few more months and hopefully I will be seeing my family back home. I have wanted to go home for a vacation since last year but money was tight back then, still is now. Hubby has set aside money for our trip this coming June or July so I'm really crossing my finger and hope nothing will come up to change our plans. My friend in New York wants me to visit before I go for my vacation so she can send some stuff for her family. If we do visit her we will have to stay in a hotel since they live in a one room apartment. She did tell me that its easy to look for new york hotel deals online. If that plan is going to push through I will finally be able to gaze at the beauty of the Statue of Liberty and stand in Time Square. But for now I'd rather stay holed up in our cozy home and stay warm....

VACAY ANYONE?

Booooo!!! Halloween and Trick or Treat is finally over and done with. Now I feel like I can relax and not worry about another occasion for a while. But wait, Thanksgiving is just around the corner saying gobble, gobble. There goes my stress level again going up. Thankfully Thanksgiving dinner won't be at our house which is a blessing. Larry, Ralph's brother will be hosting this years dinner. I love my family but this year has been just craaazzzy. A lot of family affairs, get together, party or whatever else you may call it happened here at our house. Do you know that after each gatherings MIL and I always feel like taking a vacation. Where would we go? How about a Mexico vacation,Outer Banks vacations,Hawaii vacation or somewhere really exotic? That all seems far out but it could happen, lol.

A FREE VACATION?

Hopefully the wet days are over and the sun will take over. The next few days will be warm, dry and sunny. Spring has sprung its wings ready to take off in the wind. Each day summer is getting closer and closer. Its time to start thinking about a great vacation that we could take our kids to. A vacation where we all can enjoy the same activities together. We have never been to Florida and I have only heard wonderful things about places to do and go in Kissimmee. Lots of fun outdoor activities, water parks, restaurants, festivals and events, shopping, theme parks, golf and many many more. How about if I tell you that your vacation could be free? Right now, I'll start planning what our itinerary would be. As parents we always make sure our kids have a blast so we will probably head on to an outdoor activity first that includes sightseeing and a day at the park. Going to a Theme Park where the oldest can have her choice of adrenaline pumping rides while the little one can settle for the simple rides. The water parks since both our girls love the water and of course something for Me and Ralph maybe a little luxury activity. Winning that week long vacation would be awesome.
