DISCUSSION

Never did I imagine that I would become a worry wart when it comes to my children's future. Yes its natural for a parent to worry about their children's future. The moment I became a mom was the moment I understood my husbands worry about getting the right life insurance. Now that my husband is considered middle age, he has taken it upon himself to find the best term life insurance quotes from different insurance companies. Everyone in my family has a life insurance but my husband wants to cover all the basis and get better life insurance if he can. My MIL turning 70 a couple of months ago has also been taking about her insurance. At first I didn't want to discuss things like insurance and funeral arrangement and benefits but I have come to the conclusion that If I want my kids to be taken cared of in case one of us passes away ,I have to pay attention and join in the discussion. Now I know the importance of finding the right insurance for our family.

TALK WITH HER BOYS

Tomorrow is my MIL's 69th birthday. I am baking her a cake and crossing my finger that she doesn't come out of her room and ruin our surprise. Yesterday, Angelo's family and one of his older kids came down to take mom out to dinner. We just went to our favorite Chinese buffet. And by golly was it packed with people. Eating out on a weekend in Delaware is not a good idea. We had to wait for 15 minute to finally get seated. As usual we have a blast while talking. Before leaving the house I sneaked in a candle in my bag to take with me. When we were all done eating I went to get a slice of cake on the dessert buffet and put that single candle one top and went over to our table. We all sang happy birthday to her. As expected she got teary eyed. When we all got home Ralph, Angelo and Mom talked about her life insurance again. Its always something that she continues to talk to her kids about. The life insurance she already has right now is enough but she is thinking of getting another one but wants her son's opinion on the matter. Ralph suggested that she check out Wholesaleinsurance.net and see if she can find one and to talk to them after that. I hate when they start talking about insurance and dying but its a subject that needs to be addressed. Mom said that she will let her boys know when all 3 of them are present so she can go over it with them. Do you have insurance? If not, its time to think about getting one for you or your family.

INSURE THE FUTURE

The one thing that I have noticed here in America is that people take the time to invest on affordable life insurance for themselves or their whole family. Back in the Philippines, I only knew a handful of people who are able to get life insurance. At first I didn't understand why Ralph was so adamant about finding the right life insurance specially for him in his line of work. He explained that if ever something happens to him, I can have help about taking care of my kids. It may not be much but it will be enough. I'm safe to say that all of us have life insurance and that if something even happens to both me and Ralph my kids will have something. How I wish my mom and sister back home could afford to get life insurance specially health insurance. It could make a big impact on their health needs and cover most of the cost. If only they were living here in America. Hopefully in the near future I may be able to convince my mom to migrate here in America.
