TARGET MONDAYS

What a great Monday! My new friend Allison and I went to Target to score some great deals. Of course since I don't drive and she doesn't have a care my hubby played chauffeur for us, dropping and picking us up at the mall. It was the husbands day to babysit while the wives go on a bargain hunt,lol.

We first went to Target to check out what things we could get. While there we checked out the baby aisle for my friends 6 month old baby. We ooohed and ahhhed over the cute outfits. And of course talked about anything and everything from feeding, potty training, being pregnant, maternity dresses,breastfeeding to parenting. After Target we hit up the food court where my husband and Kaitlyn met with us for lunch. It wouldn't be a mall day without visiting some of the other stores like Victoria Secret and Forever XXl. We didn't purchase anything, just ended up looking. Our main goal was one thing Target. We went back in with a vengeance. We both went home with a few bags of great finds. Mine was under $12 which was great since we had a $20 deal limit. She went over since she had to purchase diapers for her baby. But, all in all we did great!!!

RIGHT DIRECTION

Its been cold and windy the past few days. I hate going out in the cold, winter just dries me up. Before long I will look like a dried up prune or raisin. My MIL is already 68 years old but she uses toners, clarifying lotions and moisturizers on her face. I am 32 years old and I can already see that on my face. If I want to look young and just have healthy looking skin I have to think about really spending on products that can help. Ever since I married my husband I am big into reading review on products. So with that, I am going to read about therapores reviews and see if its the right one for me. The product itself looks promising but I still have yet to read the complete review. I will have to be quick about making a choice of what products to use for my face specially when I am trying to get pregnant. Since I already have an appointment to see my Gynecologist by the end of the month I will be able to ask my doctor what is safe for me to use and what isn't. Hopefully my doctor can steer me in the right direction.

VANITY OR NECESSITY

Brggghhhh, my oh my its freezing cold outside. Can't be denied, Falls brother Winter is already here. I do not the cold weather, I love the snow but hate the coldness that comes with it. The other thing is the dryness of my skin,the cold air just sucks out all the moisture in my body. It leaves my skin looking old, wrinkly and peeling. My face feels tight and so dry that it enhances the wrinkles around my eyes. Now that sucks, I'm 32 years old and need to take care of my skin. So I have made a promise to myself that I would close my eyes on how much a good wrinkle cream costs and just buy it. In the end it can be counted as an investment coz we only have one skin. As a mother It's important that I show my girls how to take care of our skin. It's not vanity but how we are suppose to be. Taking good care of our skin doesn't have to cost a lot of money as their are a lot of things that you can use. In the end, the secret to looking young is feeling young and staying healthy.

ANOTHER WEDDING

This coming Saturday will be the wedding of Andrew and Wendy. The groom is my MIL's grandson. We will be heading out to New Jersey once again to witness the union of these two couple. Before the wedding I heard Wendy and my SIL talking about finding a Wedding Jewelry that is meaningful to both of them. In today's generation wedding jewelry is part of the ceremony already. Specially for middle eastern weddings, brides are adorned with different kinds of wedding jewelry. Either from the groom or from the brides family. I have seen proof of that from watching Platinum Wedding on television. But anyway, we hope that the weather will cooperate on Saturday. The wedding will be held outside the backyard of their house. I have already picked out outfits for the girls and myself, got the card and gift and of course I got to help MIL cook the food she volunteered to bring.

SILVER BAUBLES

I must admit that the first few days I was in Cebu I got surprised by how expensive commodities have become. The foods that I used to love eating that were cheap and affordable were no longer so. I often wonder how the poor get through the day feeding their family. There were still some things that were cheap. I was surprised by how cheap silver jewelries were. Not sterling silver but the 925 silver jewelry. Got me wondering in the process if wholesale diamonds were sold in the Philippines and would it be cheap. If that was the case I'm sure that women who loves diamonds would be in high heaven. They said diamonds were girls best friend, not for me. Food is my best friend and boy did I eat a lot of my best friend when I was on my vacation. And oh, I did get a few silver baubles for myself after my mom got me a silver necklace with a cross pendant and gave me her beautiful silver earring. I just had to buy a bracelet and a few silver rings to match my new earrings and necklace.

WILL BE ON DIET SHORTLY

What a vacation it has been so far. The heat is still makes us weak and drains our energy but were getting better. We just arrived today from visiting my hometown in Ormoc City. I finally got to see my maternal grandparents once more. The drawback of going home is that food is aplenty. I ate everything that I laid my eyes on, I was on a see food diet ( if i see food i eat it). Too much eating fatty foods and just anything is wreaking havoc on my face. I think I am having a small breakout on my chin. When I go out tomorrow I will have to look for the best acne treatment that is compatible for me. I just hope it won't get to bad so I don't have to worry about it. Vacation time is suppose to be enjoying the food and being stress free. I'll worry about what I look like when I go home. I will definitely have to go on a diet...

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

Have you noticed that with the changing of the season you change as well? There was one Summer where I was a lot younger, I had a terrible case of acne breakout. At first I really didn't pay attention to it nor took care of my face. It did got worse, now every time I look in the mirror and see the scars left from acne breakouts I have regrets. I should have taken medication or looked for natural acne treatment that could have helped control it. My mom was not happy to find out that I did not treat it right away. From that time on, I try to put medication to control my breakouts before they get any worse. Thankfully I only have a couple of scars left from that experience. My problem now is about uneven skin tone and find something that can help me in that area.

A LITTLE BIT MORE

Kicking the bad habit is not as easy to let go. I tend to get addicted on certain stuff and will not stop until I have gotten my fix. I am not talking about drugs, alcohol or smoking. My addiction tends to point towards online games, craft, more online games and of course watching a marathon of different shows. Staying up so late at night and waking up early is wreaking havoc to my system specially my eyes. Ever heard of the raccoon eyes? Well, I have those from watching to much of Criminal Minds. I just need to finish Season 4 and 5, after that I will probably need more than the eye cream for dark circles. What I will need is some new set of fresh looking eyes. I'm surprised that I don't have bloodshot eyes when I wake up in the morning. Next week I should be done watching season 1-5 of Criminal Minds, after that I dunno. If my eyes wont fall out of its socket, maybe I will start watching another series like Bones or Law and Order SVU.

BLENDING WITH NATURE

I am not feeling good today. I just got my monthly visit from mother nature which means I am definitely not pregnant. No wonder I have been getting those massive headaches for the past 2 days. The weather today blend with my mood of just feeling blah. I decided not to go with Ralph to pick up Kayla in Baltimore, instead I did fold the rest of the laundry that has been screaming my name. I did enjoy peace and quiet watching my favorite shows whilst laying on my new couch, lol. Summer is creeping up fast, the news is full of ways to slim down and get that bikini bod. The news also happen to mention about ways of making your legs look sexier and ready for the summer. I wonder if they were going to do a segment about cellulite and cellulite cure, varicose veins, spider viens, and so much more. I never had a problem with those when I was still single. My friends and family all agree that I have a killer legs. Let me correct that, they did. I am not to worried about it though, I have more things to worry about like my expanding belly fat,lol.
