NEW REMOTE
This is the continuation of my previous post about my mischievous daughter throwing the television remote in the toilet. That happened about 2 days ago and since then we got a new one. No matter how much i dried and keep putting and taking off the batteries the old remote would not work. I should have tried using a hair dryer to dry it off but hey there is only so much i can think, lol. I was a bit upset when i called the cable company and was told that it would take 3-5 business days for someone to come to the house, replace the remote and program it. I was about to start complaining when the customer personnel told me over the phone that if we go to the nearest office they will replace the remote right then and there. Whew! I was relieved to hear that. So now, Kaitlyn is banned from playing with the remote control and is banned from going inside the bathroom with anything in her hands.

Live and learn, huh? Good to hear you got a new remote. Manny, my cat, laid on ours the other night while my husband was watching hockey and must have hit the reply button. I thought it was funny, my cat wanted to see those commercials again. At least our remote wasn't broken like yours was.
good, kay nailisan dayon. I don't know why kids at that age love remote, my jake too, once he got the remote, it goes to his mouth right away and slob it.
A helpful cable person. That is a very good start to the new year!
My son flushed down a paper weight which got stuck and when my husband got it out he asked if I wanted it back!? I threw it away and have also banned my son from the bathroom and have started closing the door.
Man the joys of kids that I have to look forward too. Be glad though it was your child and not my friends dog. When she was a puppy she chewed up not one, not two, but 8 different T.V. remotes.

I'm glad you got a new remote. My daughter's doing her best to play in the toilet these days too. We did battle over it today and she spent some time in "time out" because the toilet was more intriguing than my "No!" was.
