HELP ON THE WAY FOR STUDENTS

As a father Ralph is a big advocate for Education. Our oldest Kayla is in Kindergarten and has only missed one day of school and it was due to circumstances that had something to do with her mom. I happily tell my relatives in NJ how smart my kids are and how patient Ralph is when it comes to teaching and helping do home works. I have a cousin in NJ that just graduated high school and is now picking a school for college. And with that comes decision about money matters pertaining to cost of education. My grandmother has been telling me that my aunt and uncle has been very busy checking out schools and of course helping their daughter get the right student loans. Ralph nephew Andrew is back in school but I wonder if he got the most out of his student loan. I should call him tomorrow and tell him about this student loan network that can help him with finding right student loan resources for his student loans.

A NOSE FOR FOOD

This is my little princess bruiser. Its been her habit to smell the food she is about to eat first before taking a bite. I gave her a piece of our left over corn from yesterday. As soon as I gave it to her it went directly to her nose, lol.. She did enjoy munching on her corn and like a good girl she went over to the kitchen, grabbed a napkin and wiped her mouth. Sometimes I wonder how she got so smart, she acts like she is 18 months going on 5, lol. Children are so precious and Im one lucky mom to two smart girls..

WALKING WITH COMFORT AND STYLE

Most girls dream of diamonds but a whole bunch of women have this love for shoes and more shoes. There is a little Imelda Marcos in all of us, even little old me. My mother was and still is a shoe lover. She had a whole collection of shoes when she was younger, different styles and different colors. It had to match what she was wearing and what she was in the mood for. My mom's love for shoes has apparently been passed on to my youngest. She is only 18 months but she loves loves shoes. When she meets new people she makes it a point to look at there shoes and if she likes them she will touch it. As for me, I still have that little Imelda in me trying to emerge. Since were in a recession my love for buying shoes has taken a step back. I was honestly surprised when I check out AMI CLUBWEAR not only were there shoes cute and sexy but they had a varied selection as well. My mouth literally watered and my eyes bulged out as I was browsing through the collection of shoes.

As parent, I make it a point to buy things that are comfortable and practical at the same time. But that doesn't mean that I will have to settle for anything less. I fell in love with this white open toe cuff ankle low wedge sandals as soon as I saw it and prayed that they have it in my size. With those sandals I can still run around with my little girl without fear of tripping and still look cute. And this is what I call walking in comfort and style. Check out AMI Clubwear and prepare to be boggled with all the affordable shoes, dresses, accessories that they have..

SCARED WITLESS

Yesterday was all fun and rides for us, well for the girls mostly Kayla. It was a little cold but we all had fun. Kaitlyn refused to get on her stroller and I had to carry her around since she will only go to her daddy once in a while. Wasn't able to take a lot of photos but I did get some videos of daddy and her girls.

While at the carnival I couldn't help but notice all the teeny boppers/hormone enraged teenagers there. I was disgusted with how our teenagers dress nowadays. Very tight short shorts, plunging neckline, tight short skirts, and boy jeans hanging so low, piercing and questionable hairstyles. The kids I'm talking about were probably between the ages of 12-17. I was mortified, horrified and scared witless how this young boys and girls were acting. Do you know what went through my mind when I saw young boys and girls together? Are this kids having sex? Are they doing drugs? I could not help but wonder how things are going to change in ten years time or less when my girls are going to be hitting puberty. I tell you, I got scared and afraid how I'm going to raise my girls. I told Ralph about my fear on our way home and he said that we will raise our girls with a lot of values and morals so that they will learn what is wrong and not be afraid to say no. As a parent of girls I'm really really scared for them. Young people tend to think they are immune, they don't think beyond that moment, they are impulsive, and easily swayed. Will I be able to raise and instill the values that was taught to me? I really don't know. Ralph and I will try our damnest to raise our kids to be God fearing, compassionate and law abiding citizen. This wont be the end of my rambling thoughts but this is what I have to say for now......

NEED TO GET A LOAN?

In Today's economy every one of us are trying our best to find ways to improve our daily living. Trying to stretch a buck is like performing a miracle nowadays. My BIL Angelo has been trying to set up a restaurant business since he is such a great cook. The only problem is where can he get the money to open his own restaurant. I must admit he does not have a perfect credit score but its not that bad either. He refuses to get a loan from the Bank saying that he would rather find something that doesn't require a lot of paper works and doesn't need a big collateral. I thought maybe he should check out Personal Loans and see what they can do to help him.He can even get a loan for up to $15,000. If your like my BIL and in a tight spot check out Personal Loan Mania and read some of the FAQ that most customers ask. They can help, all you have to do is to check it out and see what they can do for you.

SPRINKLED FUN

The weather has been so wonderful that it was time to take out the Dora sprinkler from its hiding place in the shed. Friday we had to drop off Kayla to her mommy's since she has to spend 3 out of 4 weekends with her mom. Saturday we left Kaitlyn with MIMA so daddy and I could wash off the boat and put the for sale sign on it. We got done before 12 and was home by lunch time. After we had some hot dogs we decided to let Kaitlyn have some fun outside with the Dora Sprinkler. She had a blast and would try to get Dora but the water would stop her, lol. She is such a trip, to bad her sister was not with her this time. So without further delay, here is my little actress.......

CHECK IT OUT

Spring is really here. We all are enjoying a beautiful warm weather where you can just go out without a sweater or jacket. The kids are specially loving it, they get to play outside with bubbles, chalks, the swing set and most of all the ever popular sand box. Everyone is preparing for Summer's arrival and with that Ralph also has to make sure to get a good credit check to know our financial standing. Ralph has been trying and working on improving his credit score by paying off some of the debts that he had. Its tough doing that since some of his debt has increased due to interests. When I get my papers in the mail Ralph will be getting me my own credit card so I will know how to handle paying my credit card bills and build up good credit. For a person that is not very familiar with using and having a credit card its important that to know some of the terms and what it means and this is where CARD HUB can help. They have a glossary of terms complete with explanation of what it is. That's one service you cant find in a lot of credit score checker. This summer be prepared and check it out.

IN LIMBO

For weeks now, I have been contemplating about going home for a vacation. I don't think its going to be possible since things are getting bad and the economy is not looking to good. Just yesterday Ralph called to inform me that 20 cops will be laid off and a months leave without pay is going to be enforced on all cops. That got me really worried about Ralph's job and our finances. We are not rich, we just make ends meet. My decision not to go home is the right thing to do. My heart is aching to go home and see my family but my brain is telling me to wait and think first. I don't want to force the situation and put my families finances here in limbo. Its really really hard for me, Ralph feels so bad about this and worries that I wont love him anymore. Life is about tough choices and sacrifices. I know one day when the time is right we will be able to go back for a visit, but its not the right time. For now I'll just make do with talking and seeing my family through the eyes of the web cam, that is better than nothing.

POTENTIAL LIFE SAVING KIT

As my mother turns a year older and wiser I cant help but worry about her health. She is not as healthy as I would like her to be, to top it off she has gained a lot of weight. Her hormones have been out of whack since she had to have a hysterectomy and one of her thyroid had to be removed. After all of those operation was when she started gaining a whole lot of weight and adding more complications to her Rheumatic Heart condition. It scares me to think that I may after all have that condition since its hereditary.

Now that I'm a mother I worry about my health since I have my two little girls to think of. I know there are also mother's like me who have to think about the future and that is where C'elle comes to our rescue. The company has come up with a way to harvest stem cells in a woman's menstrual blood. What we women dread about monthly could potentially save our lives and the lives of our loved ones. With the easy to use collection kit, harvesting that potential life saving stem cell is within our reach. For a limited time offer you can get C'elle for only $299 ($400 off on the regular price) when you use the promo code : CN400. Its time we take care of ourselves and have safety line for our future.

THUNDERSTORMS

The day started off great with the twittering birds, warm sunshine and cool breeze. We were surprise how nice it was outside since it was suppose to rain the morning. Kaitlyn once again was out the whole afternoon. I had to put her down for her afternoon nap first. She slept for over 2 hours and was fully charged when we went outside in the front porch. We all went to the bus stop to pick up big sister and my was she happy to see all of us there. The kids kept playing in the front porch and also the backyard. We had pizza and cheese steak for dinner and ate on the back deck.

It was a different story after about 8:00 p.m. though, it started to rain cats and dogs. It was just pouring and then the thunderstorm started. I'm a grown woman but the thunder just scared me since you could feel the house vibrate. The sound and the flash of lightning was also scary. Thank God it didn't last that long of else I would never would have been able to drop on my daily visitors and readers. One thing with kids is that when they finally fall asleep they are deaf to anything, well almost, lol.

KNOW MORE ABOUT FORECLOSURE

Its no secret that the economy has affected everybody around the world. People have lost cars, properties. The most sad thing about the economy is that some families has had there homes foreclosed on them, leaving some homeless. My BIL even hit a rough spot when his house was also foreclosed on him less than 2 years ago. Here is good news for people who are living in the State of Ohio with stop foreclosure ohio. There are ways to stop having your house foreclosed on you, check out the site for more information on how you can save your home. I hope they would come up with more talk about how to stop foreclosure in different States as this would be a big help to many families right about now. Take action now and lay claim to your home again.

PINK LITTLE SANDALS

Her pink little sandals. We got that at Walmart and every where we go people always say her shoes look so cute on her and ask where we got it. As you can see Kaitlyn doesn't have the nicest nails around,lol.. MIL and I always talk how ugly her toes are. Its just her nails are growing upwards and its just hard to trim and make it even. Still she has cute little toes and it amazes me how fast they grow, she is between size 4-5. She only gets a max of two shoes since she is still growing and it would be such a waste to buy her more and she wont be able to wear them a lot. This one she has almost worn out, she loves wearing this since she can run around in them, jump and climb. In another week or two she will probably outgrow this.

GOOD HEALTH INVESTMENT

Being a parent is one of the most wonderful thing that happened to me. Conceiving, nurturing a tiny human being inside of me was an eye opening journey. Giving birth was special and one that I will never forget. Children are gifts from God, a gift worth protecting, nurturing and worth preserving. As a mother I worry about the health and well being of my girls. I always get scared about certain illness and diseases that my kids may get. Every little sniffle, cough, fever and parent/parents start to worry about the kids. Its in our nature to find a way to make sure that our kids get healthy and stay healthy. We all know that there are some common diseases that kids are usually prone to. One of them is leukemia and different forms of disorders. We are planning on having a new baby and it helps to be prepared for health issues that may come up in the future. To help safeguard the health and life of our kids, lets think about getting Cryo-Cell , it's harvesting the stem cells found in the umbilical cord of new born infant. Scientist have found that the umbilical cord contain stem cells that in likeness to bone marrow transplant. Banking our child's cord blood may save the life of a loved one, a sibling or parent. Here is a testimonial of a Cryo-Cell customer :

"My children are the most precious gifts that I will ever have and I want to do everything I can to make sure they are well. While I was pregnant with my first child, I would see articles and ads about cord blood and it bothered me that it was so expensive but what if I one day needed this blood. The reality of having only one chance or it really went in the garbage kept me wondering if I would regret not investing. What if he had cancer or his dad or I were sick, would that blood have been the cure? Through research, I came across Cryo-Cell International, Inc., a company with the most reasonable rates and the assurance of two holding facilities.

When I was pregnant with my second child, we wondered if one bank was enough? Finances were tighter and should we spend the money? Then we realized that his brothers blood might not match for the new baby. The next day, stories were breaking about how Cord blood had saved or changed the lives of children, one cancer, one cerebral palsy. Then we discovered that a friend was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. He didn't bank his daughters blood and wished he had. Three years prior, I lost a friend to renal cancer when she was 29. We felt like it was our answer.

We are just beginning to see miracles that this blood can bring. We have two "life insurance policies", that is how we look at it. If anyone in the family gets ill, there is a chance that the blood could save our lives. If we don't use it, then it is there for our son's children."

Sincerely,
mother of Parker and Davis
