BLU YOUR WAY TO EXCITING PRIZES

For St.Patrick this year I received a little something-something from IZEA. I got a green shamrock shirt, candies, pencil, card, lei and a BluFrog energy drink. At first it seemed out of sort that they sent me all green stuff but a couple to things stood out the blufrog energy drink. I made Ralph drink one and he said it tasted pretty good and he felt good all day long. No wonder he felt energized, it has more vitamins and minerals than most energy drinks. I still have one can left and maybe I should try it out and maybe it will help me stay in sync with my daughters boundless energy. OUR SOON TO BE PUPPY

This will be the newest addition to our family. Photo was taken July 1 when we visited my BIL Angelo for the day. The puppies have grown so much and they all looked so cute but my heart was stolen by this one black puppy. She had the biggest head among all the black puppies with the most adorable sad face. She looked at me and I knew we were going to end up having a puppy. It didnt help that Kaitlyn was all over the puppy. Ralph left the final decision to me since I am the master of the house, lol. If it it were not for Kaitlyn and Kayla and their love for a dog I would never consider getting one. It also helped that Labrador Retriever are excellent pets for families who have kids. I have seen the way Sam the puppies mommy acts around Kaitlyn.

July 18th is going to be the official day we will welcome this new addition to the family. I still worry about the dog smell and hair but since I know one great product that really helps my worries are laid to rest. Hmmmmm, I wonder if our house will ever be the same, lol

SHOW OFF THOSE CURVES

It cannot be denied that summer makes me laugh, hop and smile. I guess its the blinding sunshine and warmth of the sun that makes me want for Summer to be all year long. I have finally switched my wardrobe from winter to summer and I'm so relieved that its over. I still have quite a few outfits I would like to add to my meager summer wardrobe. Getting a great pair of jeans is the next on my agenda. Something that will go a long way and can be worn anywhere at anytime. I watch this one show that emphasizes on getting a great pair of denim that will go a long way. It matters very little about the cost since once you have found that special jeans it will eventually pay for itself. Were lucky that Armani Exchange is having a big sale " New Premium Denim" starting at $98. I know its a little expensive but hey if the fit is perfect why not right? The Potassium Straight Leg is probably my favorite since it can be dressy and casual at the same time. And the straight cut is most flattering for my figure and it looks good with very high heels. What about if I tell you that you can own one of the many denims they have? I bet that peaked your interest. Its actually very simple, all you have to do is text A|Xvia sms and win a new pair of denims everyday this July. And if you can't wait and decide to purchase a pair of denim from Armani Exchange you get a $20 gift card off your next purchase of $100 or more. But hurry this offer is already in full swing and will end 8/15/09. And don't forget to show off those curves in your new denim.

CANDLE GLOW

Wednesday started off great and without any incident at all. Ralph and Kaitlyn spend most of the afternoon in the pool swimming around. We had grilled steak, macaroni & cheese and corn and it was so scrumptious. It wasn't until 6 p.m. that the power suddenly went out, at first I just thought it was just our house that maybe something tripped. I poked my head outside to tell Ralph about the power when our neighbor went out to check with us. It was the power box across from our house that was acting up again. A couple of weeks or so that same power box blew up and we thought that the electric company already fixed, we were wrong!

To pass the time we all stayed outside on the front porch and watch Kaitlyn play with our neighbor Tracy. We all thought that the power will be restored after a few min but we were very hopeful. After 2 hours the we called to ask what time the power will be restored and we were shock to hear that it was going to be until 11 p.m. Since I was used to power outage in my country I was not worried nor got to bothered about not having power. I decided to find lit some candle and put them around the house so it wouldn't be so dark. Kaitlyn had a blast trying to blow out all the candles.

To cut the story short, our electricity was not restored until 6 am the following morning. Needless to say I was not able to get online let alone do my daily drops. Ralph was pissed and tired since it was so hot he could not sleep. Thank God our meat didn't to waste. As for me I'm really hoping that this wont happen when its winter time. I would probably go nuts thinking about how cold it would get.

A POSSIBILITY OF A NEW PUPPY AND NEW DOG SHAMPOO

The past days I have really been thinking long and hard about getting one of my BIL puppy. We went to his house last Wednesday and saw the puppy, they have grown so much. I fell in love with one of the black labs with a very big head and sad face. Kaitlyn was all over the puppies and kept wanting to pet them. Husband left it all to me to decide, I will have the last word. He has already looked into pet insurance if we do get a dog. Ralph knows my hesitation about getting a new puppy. One of the big reason is the smell, I hate the smell of dog. I don't want my house smelling like one and also the shedding all over the place. I feel relieved though that Dinovite has a solution for my problem. A shampoo that will hopefully do wonders on taking care of dog hair, the smell and most importantly, it kills fleas. Now, that's a dog shampoo that I would want to have when I do decide about getting the puppy, I will only have until this week to decide. I know for sure the kids would love to get a puppy specially since Kayla has been asking me for one ever since we saw them. Kaitlyn also loves the puppies mommy Sam and I have been told that Labrador Retriever are excellent dog breed for kids. I thought we were not getting a new pet but I guess things can change, as the saying goes " Change is the only constant thing in this world".

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
We are off to New Jersey to attend a graduation party of my cousin. There is going to be lots of Filipino food. I'm just taking this few minutes to let my droppers know i wont be able to do my usual drops since we will be staying overnight at Ralph's nieces apartment and she does not have any Internet. Were heading off to her apartment first then at around 4:30 we will be heading for my relatives house about 15 minutes away. I'll be sure to take lots of picture and eat, eat, eat a whole lot! Have fun everyone and be safe!

NO DROPPING TODAY

I wont be doing my daily rounds and drops today. We got home from New Jersey a couple of hours ago and something happened when we got home. It involves Kaitlyn but she is fine so far. I am just taking this few minutes to let my droppers know that I wont be returning their drops today. I have to watch Kaitlyn while she sleeps and observe her breathing. I will write a post about what happened tomorrow. But she is fine and sleeping now.

CHIC GEEKS

Growing up I have never had trouble or a problem with my eyesight. I have 20/20 vision on both eyes and I'm very very thankful for that. My sister however has a little problem with her eyesight and has to wear corrective glasses. At least her eyesight is not as bed as my husband. Ralph's eyes are so bad that he cant really see anything without his glasses. Just a couple of months ago he was having headache due to his glasses, it has a scratch right in the middle of his line of vision. He didn't really want to get new ones since he just got those glasses less than 6 months ago. After days of suffering from headache I finally convinced him to get a new pair of glasses no matter what the cost. As It turned out he didn't have to pay for anything since his glasses were still covered by warranty. Just in case something happens with his glasses again I know where to get High-indexted Prescription Eyeglasses where he can get a decent pair of glasses. I was also thinking about getting eyeglasses for my mom and sister. My moms eyesight is going downhill due to age and I think getting her something from Discounted Reading Eyeglasses would be a thoughtful surprise gift. I will have to ask my sister to help me pick which pair would be perfect for her. I could even get my sister a pair of eyeglasses as well with all the varied selection or designs that GlassesShop.com has to offer. With different frames ranging from plastic, metal, wood like or more I'm pretty sure my sister will have fun browsing through all of them until she finds the perfect pair for her and our mom. With the affordability and styles to choose from I'm sure both my mom and sister will look like chic geeks. If you are looking for a new place to get your priscription eyeglasses or sunglasses check it out, it doesn't hurt to look.

MY HUSBAND, THE FATHER

Dad, Happy Fathers Day! You are at work but I want to let you know that we love you so much and we thank you for all the love, support, patience and understanding you have given to us. I did not grow up with a dad so I am so blessed to have found a man who loves his children more than life itself. I picked the graphic above since you are once special man. You are close to being the perfect dad that any kid would want. Why not perfect? Your flaws as a dad if there is any is what makes you special and unique. To my maternal grandfather, thank you so much lo for loving me and my sister and for being there for us when we needed you. To all my uncles thank you for the bottom of my heat. And to my step dad John, no words can express how thankful and happy I am to have met a man like you. Thank you for being a father, brother and friend to me and my sister.

THE SMALL POOL

Pictures of the girls taken last week. I decided to blow up the small pool for Kaitlyn since it was to cold for her and Kayla to go in the pool. We bought that pool last year before the big pool was put it. Kayla loves it even if its a little small for her and Kaitlyn enjoys it more since she can swim without the fear of her going under the water. The other girl in the picture is our neighbors daughter Tracy. She is so good with the girls and she watches over them and play with them, she is like a mother hen. Both the older girls love sliding on the little slide even if they are to big for it. I rather prefer the blow up pool than the big pool, this way Kaitlyn can enjoy swimming and playing in the pool without anyone holding onto her. Its a pain in the ass to put it away though but as long as my kids are happy I'll be glad to put it and blow it up over and over again.

GET RID OF THE SHEDDING AND SMELL, FIND THE SOLUTION

I recently posted about the Sam and her puppies. She is a pure breed Labrador Retriever and owned by my BIL. The day she was having the puppies we went over to my BIL house to welcome the newest addition to the family. Of course our oldest asked if she could have one and told her that daddy and I will have to discuss about it. Well, it is official we will not be getting a puppy anytime soon. Why? We already have two cats Oreo and Smokey and one dog Nickie. Smokey and Nickie are my MIL pets. The one thing I dislike about having pets is that they shed. We have a black area rug in our family room and when the dog comes out she shakes and the rug gets covered in hair. It drives me nuts specially since Kaitlyn loves laying down on the area rug and the dog hair makes it look so dirty, filthy and I hate the smell of dog hair. If only Nickie would not smell and shed she would be the perfect dog. There is a solution, Dinovite is the newest nutritional supplement product that is made solely of our cats and dogs.It helps fill in the nutritional gap left by giving them regular dog or cat foods. I just found out that if you give your pets the right nutritional supplements and foods the itching, scratching and smell will no longer be a problem. For more information check out the solutions center . If that is the case we may reconsider getting another puppy since Nickie is getting old and both our girls love dogs.

STAWBERRY ESCAPADE

Here is our strawberry picking escapade June 16,2009 at Walnut Farms in Maryland. It was a breezy and cloudy day to go strawberry picking. At least the sun wasn't beating down on us but It gave me the chills, so on went my sweater. The princess bruiser though had more fun trekking back and forth between me and her daddy. She trampled on a lot of strawberries but it was already getting rotten anyways. The strawberries were not that abundant and big since it is almost the end of the season. I wanted to go raspberry picking after but the owner said the raspberry were done picking for the day and the next picking would be on Thursday. At least I got to experience strawberry picking which was all I wanted. And by the way I want to thank my husband for taking us. Next year I will schedule an earlier trip to another strawberry farm and this time we will be complete as a family. I will make sure that we have big sister so we can all go together. For this coming Fall/Autumn, I was thinking of taking the kids to an apple orchard and maybe just maybe have a little picnic at the same time. Anyway, we still got quite a few strawberries and my oh my am I stuffed!!!

SHINE LIKE A STAR

We had such a rocking, dancing good time before we settled for the night. My youngest Kaitlyn loves music and she was just dancing and performing for us. We let her dance to her little feet and hearts content until she gets tuckered out! I miss my step daughter though, she would have been right beside her baby sister singing and dancing along. I would love to have one of my kids be on television or print. Both my kids love watching kids shows on television. Kayla once said she wants to see herself on television. I may just have the answer for her request since Raggs Rockin' Kids Search is open to kids between the ages of 3-7. They are looking for kids that have big personalities and someone who loves to share stories. That is just perfect since Kayla will turn 6 this August and I think she would do great since she loves to talk and tell stories about everything and anything. In today's society parents are somewhat wary about this kind of kids search. One thing I'm sure though is this search is legit and the people at Twitter Party made sure about that. They have posted on there site the rules and regulations and how you can enter a video of your child. And of course lets talk about the prizes up for grabs:

Raggs

  • GRAND PRIZE $100 gift card - 1
  • Raggs Rocks DVD Activity books - 10
  • Raggs Pastograps - 10
  • Plush toys - 5
  • Raggs back pack - 5
Isn't that sweet? If your child gets picked we not only get win those great prizes but they get to be on television as well and get seen by their family and friends. We better hurry though the contest has already started and will end on June 30. Let's go make that video and make our kids a star.

STRAWBERRY PICKING

Strawberry field here we come!!! Yup, weather permitting we will be off to go strawberry picking in Maryland. Its a good thing to since raspberry is also in season. I'm so excited since this is my first time to go strawberry picking. I just hope that princess bruiser will be on her best behavior tomorrow and will help me pick strawberries. I do hope i can take lots of pictures but Ralph doesn't really like taking pictures, I am usually the photographer. I am going to have my fill and I am bringing home a bunch!

LIFE IS PRICELESS

The joys of parenthood is full of limitless adventures, fun, patience, learning and an abundance of love. As a parent to a little girl I now understand the frustration and joy my mom went through with me and my sister. It is sad to know thought that my mother has not seen my daughter since she was born. My mom is not getting any younger and she now has a lot of health issues. I do get worried since most health issues are hereditary. I want to be there for my kids, see them go to school, get jobs and have a family. For me looking into C'elle is now or never. With the new age technology, it has afforded us women, mothers, sister or daughters the ability to get use from our menstrual cycle. What we deemed the monthly curse will be our salvation yet. When I got to read C'elle benefits It got me sold into really thinking about investing for my future and my kids. Nothing is constant in our world except change and with that I don't know what tomorrow has in store for me and my family. Investing on our health and our kids health is important that all of us should think about. If your thinking if our family can afford to invest in this very important health decision it is good to know more about the pricing and let us keep in mind though that our life is priceless.
